I'm an loud and proud Chicago ex-pat happily living in London with my darling husband.

I come from a line of photographers with different subject matters - My grandfather shot animals, my brother shoots nature and I shoot people.

I started shooting with my beloved cherry red Nikon in my angsty pre-teen years and I’ve since carried various cameras around in my handbag bag documenting my life, my family, my friends and strangers - all who have, in their own ways, become my muses.

I shoot folks with the understanding that most people hate getting their photo taken - it’s awkward and can feel strange - but shooting as a fly-on-the-wall helps me capture genuine emotion that otherwise hides behind a posed photo.
